TUCSON, AZ, UNITED STATES, October 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — The University of Arizona Global Campus (UAGC) and Western Wyoming College have launched a new partnership focused on expanding access to bachelor’s degree pathways for students across Wyoming and surrounding rural communities, creating new opportunities for learners to continue their education through flexible online programs designed for working adults.

The partnership connects Western Wyoming College students, employees, and eligible family members with online degree programs designed to support continued education while balancing work, family, and geographic constraints common across rural communities.

Through the agreement, eligible participants will have access to a reduced tuition rate of $295 per credit toward bachelor’s degree programs, equating to a savings of approximately $4,950 per year*. Tuition benefits are also available for select graduate programs, supporting continued education and the development of career-relevant skills.

“This partnership reflects a shared focus on expanding access in ways that are practical for students balancing work, family, and other responsibilities,” said Amy Rogers, director of Strategic Partnerships at UAGC. “Western Wyoming College serves a broad and rural region, and this collaboration creates flexible pathways that allow students to continue their education without needing to leave their communities.”

Western Wyoming College plays a critical role in supporting its region through workforce-aligned programs and community-centered education. Serving a geographically dispersed population, the college provides access to higher education for students who may otherwise face barriers related to distance, work schedules, and family responsibilities. This partnership builds on that work by creating clear next steps for students seeking to continue their education.

“Our students often navigate long distances, work commitments, and family responsibilities while pursuing their education,” said Kirk Young, President at Western Wyoming College. “Access to flexible and online degree pathways is essential in a region like ours. This partnership creates a clear path for students to continue their education without leaving their communities while supporting the needs of our local workforce.”

The partnership includes aligned transfer pathways and coordinated support services to help students move from an associate degree to a bachelor’s degree with clarity and confidence. By focusing on continuity and accessibility, the collaboration supports students from enrollment through completion.

This effort reflects a broader focus on strengthening partnerships with community colleges that serve rural and geographically dispersed populations, helping expand access to higher education and support workforce needs across the regions they serve.
