The core of AI Atlas is Arion’s Native and Embedded framework. AI Native products are built around a model from the ground up; remove the model and the product loses its reason to exist. AI Embedded products add AI to an existing solution, where it augments an established workflow rather than defining the product. The framework evaluates each entry against five tests covering dependency, architecture, origin, commercial structure, and interface, so a classification reflects what a product delivers rather than how it is positioned in the market.

Enterprise AI Atlas launches with more than 400 enterprise AI products already classified across security, business intelligence, human capital management, enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, coding, and infrastructure categories. Each product is also ranked on a four-level agentic capability scale, ranging from no agentic capability to fully autonomous execution. It also includes the ability for the solutions to be sorted by business function and use case. These specific sorting capabilities are currently included in the map in Beta, with full rollout expected by mid-September.
Unlike a static analyst report, Enterprise AI Atlas updates as the market moves and evolves in real time. Every solution includes a written rationale, a confidence rating, and the public evidence behind its classification. Vendors may challenge a placement by presenting evidence against Arion’s published tests. Each update documents what was added, removed, or reclassified, making changes in the market visible over time.
To qualify for inclusion in Enterprise AI Atlas, a product must:

-Show evidence of real-world adoption
-Be actively maintained
Consumer-only tools, waitlist products, and vendors in stealth are excluded to ensure the map is focused on what a buyer can purchase immediately. AI solution providers that are not currently on the map can submit their solutions for review. Every solution goes through the same five-test evaluation applied to existing entries, and qualifying products are added to the map on an ongoing basis rather than waiting for an annual refresh.
While Enterprise AI Atlas covers what enterprise buyers can evaluate today, Arion Research also launched its companion, Atlas Horizon™, a curated watchlist for products that have not yet cleared the enterprise bar but are worth monitoring.
