WASHINGTON, Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — GovCIO, a leading provider of advanced technology solutions and digital services, has been awarded the FEMA Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Portfolio Operations and Maintenance contract. The five-year, $375 million award will support the technology systems FEMA relies on to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters nationwide while advancing the agency’s ongoing IT modernization efforts.

GovCIO will provide the expertise needed to maintain and enhance FEMA’s hybrid on‑premises and multi‑cloud infrastructure. The company will deliver operations, sustainment, engineering, and modernization services across FEMA’s enterprise technology environment, including infrastructure, network operations, mobility services, enterprise software, endpoint engineering, and cloud platforms. The operations and maintenance support, proactive monitoring, and lifecycle management will strengthen system performance, boost resilience, and ensure continuity during disaster surges and Continuity of Operations events.

The work will span essential operational and engineering functions across FEMA’s IT environment. GovCIO will strengthen core systems, support mobility and network operations, deliver enterprise software and endpoint services, and provide the engineering capabilities needed to keep FEMA’s infrastructure stable, scalable, and secure. Supporting FEMA’s nationwide mission requires technology that remains available under both routine operating conditions and emergency response scenarios. Through this contract, GovCIO will help ensure FEMA maintains a resilient technology foundation capable of supporting critical operations before, during, and after disasters.
